Highlights from Rami Katz’s activities and professional projects, past and present:

Taught at University of Tel-Aviv, Department of Psychology and School of Education, as well as at other colleges.

Established and directed a multi-professional health center for child development in Northern Israel.

Under the auspices of the Rehabilitation Department of the Ministry of Welfare, specialized in USA and Europe in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of functional disabilities that stem from brain damage or deficient neurological organization.

Diagnosed, treated, and advised patients, and provided teaching and guidance to professionals, in the field of learning and functional disabilities, at health centers providing rehabilitation and professional guidance for adults, at health centers providing guidance for children and their families, and at “Learning Competence -- The Center for Advancement of Functional Capacities.”

Acted as Chair of the Division of Developmental Psychology of the Israel Psychologists Association.

Acted as Chair of the Committee for Developmental Psychology and as Board Member of the Israeli Council of Psychologists.

Heads and directs the Program for Promoting Children’s Learning and Behavioral Competence in Preschools, Kindergartens, and Schools throughout Israel.

Lecturers:
Rami Katz – Director of the Center – Senior Developmental Psychologist – heads the team of lecturers and is responsible for teaching The Neuro-Developmental-Functional-Approach.

The following lecturers are specialists in their fields, and together they cover the variety of research and study topics included in the NDFA Academic Program of the Center.
Gilad Schafman, Msc.D. – responsible for teaching the course Body Awareness, Body Mechanics and Massage. Aided by teaching assistants.
Roni Mizrachi, M.D., and other physicians – responsible for teaching Neuro-Anatomy and Physiology of the CNS.
Limor Sdeh-Chen Zadok, M.A. in Special Education and Certified Instructor in Movement and Expression Therapy – responsible for teaching the course Feeling – Body – Movement.
Dorli Rosenstein– Certified Instructor in Developmental Rehabilitation – responsible for teaching the course Child Development – Ages 0-6.
Mira Chen–National Director of the Program for Promoting Children’s Learning and Behavioral Competence in Kindergartens and Schools – responsible for teaching Implementation of The NDFA in Preschools, Kindergartens, Elementary Schools and Educational Settings.
